The West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF), in collaboration with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), is organising a virtual workshop on “Service Delivery in Tax Administration: Post COVID-19”. The workshop will be held on 3 May, 2023, from 09: 00 – 14: 45 GMT.
The main objective of this training is to identify the tools available for tax administrations to evaluate their performance through an objective assessment of the health of the key service delivery components of member countries’ tax systems.
In addition, as businesses shift to a hybrid virtual and physical workplace since the outbreak of the pandemic, Tax Administrations (TAs) both at the national and subnational levels will need to adapt to meet the needs and rise to the occasion of these changing business processes. This workshop seeks to identify some of these changes and also look at how tax authorities can prepare for the coming changes, especially in delivering quality service to taxpayers and other stakeholders in the new normal.
