Collaborating for Growth: Paving the Way for West Africa’s MSMEs

On December 3, 2025, Mr. Mamane Sidi — Minister in charge of the Budget and Delegate to the Prime Minister for Economy and Finance — hosted members of the West African Tax Administrations Forum (WATAF) for a high-level discussion on the Forum’s key initiatives.

Held at the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), the meeting focused on ongoing research aimed at generating practical, evidence-based insights to support the growth and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across West Africa.
