WATAF Engagement on Beneficial Ownership Dialogue

WATAF participated in the strategic session on “Leveraging Beneficial Ownership Data for Effective Tax Administration,” convened by Open Ownership, with the participation of the National Revenue Service (NRS) of Nigeria.

The Forum was represented by Ezeji Francis Chinedu, Administration Manager at the WATAF Secretariat, and Prof. Abiodun Adegboye, who contributed valuable insights to discussions on strengthening tax transparency, compliance, and efforts to combat illicit financial flows through the effective use of beneficial ownership data.
