ECOWAS-WATAF joint training on “Risk-based Auditing Using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT) in the Mining Sector”

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF) are jointly organising a 5-day workshop in risk-based auditing using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) in the mining sector.

The objective of the training is to provide participants with the skills and techniques to electronically sort, structure and analyse financial data to identify risks (including potential risks) to tax revenue and to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to use computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs) for risk-based audits of companies operating in the mining sector.
