REQUEST FOR NOMINATION OF PARTICIPANTS TO ATTEND A SPECIALISED AUDIT VIRTUAL TRAINING: FINANCIAL SERVICES (BANKING AND INSURANCE SECTOR) FROM 16- 19 MARCH 2021

We are pleased to inform you that the West African Tax Administration Forum (WATAF) in collaboration with the Anderson Tax is organising a 4-day virtual training on Specialised Audit: Financial Services (Banking and Insurance Sector), from 16-19 March, 2021. The training is expected to deepen the capacities of Tax Administration officials from WATAF member countries in the complex nature of auditing the financial sector, especially the banking and finance sector, with a view to increasing the revenue base of the region. The concept note is attached to provide further expected benefits to intending participants. Target Audience: The training is designed for Heads of Assessments, Compliance, Enforcement and Tax Investigation Functions of Tax Administrations of member states. Following from the above, we kindly request that you nominate 20 personnel of your tax administration to participate in the training.

• Registration for the training will be via the form attached to the call for nomination. Kindly fill and forward to info@wataf-tax.org on or before 31 January, 2021.
