13th WATAF General Assembly/Council meeting and official launching of the Forum will hold from 20th -22nd, March 2018, at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria.

The 13th WATAF General Assembly/Council meeting and official launching of the Forum will hold from 20th -22nd, March 2018, at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria. The theme for the meeting is Enhancing the Revenue Potential of West Africa. The meeting would provide an opportunity for discussions which will focus on identifying avenues for the improvement of the revenue of countries in the region.

 

The meeting will include a technical session which will have two panel discussions. The task for these panels is that of setting the tone for what is expected to be a discourse regarding the thematic issues of Domestic Resource Mobilisation (DRM) and Exchange of Information (EOI) within West Africa as well as their relationship with the enhancement of the revenue potential of the region.

 

The panellists are experts drawn from tax administrations within West Africa and reputable international tax organisations.
